MRO MATERIALS SUPPLY STRATEGY

 

DESCRIPTION:

Having a strategy for MRO Inventory, Warehouse and Procurement is essential to aligning supply chain indirect spend with maintenance. This seminar takes the next alignment step in changing what is currently deployed to the To Be future state.

Starting with writing a clear gap statement, the participants will apply domains of change
techniques to build updating plans for:

  1. In scope Business Process – describes the work activities to update procedures
  2. Organization Scope – describes recommended people, teams, and departments updates
  3. Location Scope – describes the physical locations or facilities updates
  4. Application Scope – describes specific business software application updates
  5. Data Scope describes the specific data items, structures, relationships, and business rules for updating
  6. Technology Scope – describes updates for currently installed hardware, system software, communication components, and development tools

Applying traditional project planning techniques, the seminar objective is to produce a First Draft Statement of Work containing a clear description of the problem, a recommended solution, project plans, training plans, communication plans and resourcing plans.
